About this site
An independent, sourced guide to the history, craft and live performance of video game music.

Why a site about game music
Game music is one of the most widely heard kinds of new instrumental music, yet most of what is written about it is scattered across forum threads, liner notes and interviews. Bitstosymphony gathers the story in one calm, well-sourced place for UK listeners: the eras the music passed through, the composers who wrote it, how it actually works inside a game, and where you can hear it performed live in Britain.
Who is behind it
The site is operated by Stavewell Media Ltd, a small independent publisher based in Bristol. We are not connected to any games company, record label, orchestra or concert promoter. Pages are researched and written from published, checkable sources, and each one lists them.
How it is funded
It is not. There are no adverts, no affiliate links, no sponsored posts and no paid placements. If that ever changes we will say so clearly on this page and on every page affected.
About the pictures
All images on the site are original AI-generated studio still lifes of generic instruments and equipment, made for us. They do not show any real product, game, character or person, and we do not use logos, box art or screenshots.
